GOD GRISCH*, our full leather lace-up boots fit all year round and yet feel like something very special. Our women’s lace-up boots are inspired by military boot classics, have slightly square front caps and are high laced. The classic shape and the masculine heel make this model as versatile as ever: from being practical for cold winter weather up to adding a special touch to skirts or even romantic dresses.
The lace-up boots have a leather lining and waxed cotton laces. We avoid using zippers on our footwear to have as little breakable details as possible thus they last longer. Take also a look inside – the lining reveals details of the boots origin.
Cervo Volante deerskin shoes are designed and handcrafted by Piret Pupart at Silvano Sassetti in Monte San Pietrangeli, Italy. Welt sewn and with a Goodyear Flex cork sole for a soft roll.
The shoes are equipped with a fine anti-slip latex sole. Of course you can order the GOD GRISCH as Cervo Volante special production with a pure and noble leather sole. The best way is to contact us personally: email@example.com
The shoes are made of 100% Swiss deerskin, from animals that lived in the wild and were shot there on the hunt. The bumps and scratches on the leather are traces of this wild life and a sign of authenticity and uniqueness. All leather is 100% vegetable tanned in the canton of Bern, without chrome and without synthetic tanning agents.
The colours correspond to the natural colouring caused by the tanning process. This model comes in the following colours (as long as available):
Cognac (tanned with MIMOSA/QUEBRACHO)
Olive brown (tanned with VALONEA OAK)
Dark brown (tanned with oak and dyed with iron oxide brown)
* GOD GRISCH isn´t a name you hear every day. The name of our lady-boots – Cervo Volante signature design – has to sound special. God Grisch is a forest in the Swiss Alps where our wild red deer leather comes from.
The beautiful alpine forest of GOD GRISCH lays by the geographic boundary between the upper and the lower Engadin. The local rhaeto-romanic word GOD GRISCH means grey forest. Obviously, the forest has got its name from old larch trees, draped with grey lichen.
