Caring for your shoes is\u00a0vital if you want them in your life for\u00a0a long time to come. Preserve their\u00a0shape with shoe trees and wear them\u00a0for no more than two days in a row,\u00a0airing them out well afterwards to dry.\u00a0Cervo Volante deer leather shoes are natural products. For the sake of beauty and breathability, the leather surface is only greased and not sealed. Irregularities in color or texture are witnesses of the wild life of the red deer and give your shoe a unique character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SMOOTH LEATHER SHOES<\/span>
Remove any dirt with a soft brush or\u00a0cotton cloth (e.g. an old T-shirt).\u00a0If necessary, dampen the cloth or, if the shoes are very dirty, briefly rinse\u00a0with running water. Always dry well\u00a0afterwards. Use Tapir\u2019s leather care polish to\u00a0moisturize your shoes, protect them from water, and give them a subtle\u00a0shine. Handmade in Germany, this\u00a0high-quality polish consists entirely\u00a0of natural ingredients such as beeswax,\u00a0carnauba wax, and sunflower oil. Apply the polish sparingly to dry shoes. Wait several minutes and then buff\u00a0with a clean, dry cotton cloth or shoe brush.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUEDE SHOES<\/span>
Brush out dirt, remove stains with foam rubber. Apply velour impregnation (e.g. from Tapir) as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LEATHER SOLES
<\/span>To completely dry out wet leather soles, allow as much air as possible to reach them by laying the shoes on their sides. If your shoes have leather soles,\u00a0we recommend using Tapir\u2019s leather\u00a0sole treatment regularly to protect and waterproof the soles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
