A pair of men\u2019s welted derby shoes is a classy choice. Made of wild red deer leather, the shoes represent minimalistic classic style, going along with any changes you make in your style in the future. Our derby is slim and timeless, with simple seams turned inwards and an almond-shaped toe cap. Only a fine piping line surrounds the lacing.<\/span><\/p>\n

PRODUCTION
\n<\/strong>Cervo Volante deerskin shoes are designed by Cervo Volante and handcrafted at Silvano Sassetti in Monte San Pietrangeli, Italy. Welt sewn and with a Goodyear Flex cork sole for a soft roll.<\/span><\/p>\n

SOLES
\n<\/strong>The shoes are equipped with a pure, noble leather sole in Italian style or with a fine anti-slip latex sole. Please specify your preference by the order.<\/span><\/p>\n

LEATHER
\n<\/strong>The shoes are made of 100% Swiss deerskin, from animals that lived in the wild and were shot there on the hunt. The bumps and scratches on the leather are traces of this wild life and a sign of authenticity and uniqueness. All leather is 100% vegetable tanned in the canton of Bern, without chrome and without synthetic tanning agents.<\/span><\/p>\n

LEATHER COLOUR
\n<\/strong>The colours correspond to the natural colouring caused by the tanning process. This model comes in the following colours (as long as available):<\/span><\/p>\n

Cognac (tanned with MIMOSA\/QUEBRACHO)
\n<\/span>Olive brown (tanned with VALONEA OAK)
\n<\/span>Dark brown (tanned with oak and dyed with iron oxide brown)
\n<\/span>Black (tanned with oak and dyed black with charcoal)<\/span><\/p>\n

* VAL VERDA stands for \u201cgreen valley\u201d in rhaeto-romanic. Of course there are many green valleys in Switzerland, but we have a special one in the Engadin mountains in mind. Red deer leaving the Swiss National Park during autumn cross this steep and rocky valley, covered with green pine trees.
