Our goal: Lowest impact on the environment and people

We are constantly developing our products and production methods. Our ecological footprint from acquiring raw material to delivering the ready-made product should be as small as possible. That is why we are continuously improving our methods to finally provide you with sustainable and durable everyday companions and favourites which have been made with the highest environmental standards in mind.

We are working towards making the further use of leather waste that is left over from tanning or cutting. Together with our research partners we are developing an ergonomic and breathing insole, which will be made of fine leather waste flakes from the tannery and organically activated carbon against sweating.

In the future, our insoles will be made of recycled cork.

We are negotiating with various partners to find the best ecological material for our jacket linings.

After long and thorough search for the ecologically safest metal to complement our accessories, we have settled for pure copper that is blackened in fire. We renounce any harmful supplements such as lead, chrome or nickel and use fire for stopping oxidization processes that might occur over time.

Our partner Lampert in the beautiful mountain village Guarda in Engadin forges for us the products that we need: small buckles for the adjustment of the shopper strap length as well as the big buckles and feet for the weekender.

Based on these forged unique items, we have also managed to find matching eco-friendly zippers made from recycled PET for the weekender from the Swiss company Riri.

Additional piece of good news is that we have received the first batch of the ecological thread made from cellulosic fibres for the accessories sewing from the Swiss company Johann Müller.

We have settled for the GOTS-certified and traceable Austrian linen for the lining of the weekenders.

We will not rest until all the components of our products are fully in line with our ecological and social values.

Stay tuned for the updates!
