Cervo Volante’s lace-up boots CURAGLIA* made of Swiss wild deer leather will be your beloved partner in wind and sun, on a hike in the forest and a stroll in the city. Inspired by classic combat boots, the model has extended lace-up front and a slight lift of the heel. Set partly on a natural rubber gripped sole this Italian-made boot is fully lined with leather and topped with waxed cotton shoelaces. The boots have Goodyear-flex cork insoles, which make them ideal for longs walks. Special plant-tanned leather is exclusively ecological and chemical-free. The design of the heel gives an additional touch of subtlety and makes the shoe suitable for both – elegant and sporty style.

We avoid using zippers on our footwear to have as little breakable details as possible thus they last longer. Take also a look inside – the lining reveals details of the lace-up boots origin.

PRODUCTION
Cervo Volante deerskin shoes are designed by Piret Puppart and handcrafted by Silvano Sassetti in Monte San Pietrangeli, Italy. Welt sewn and with a Goodyear Flex cork sole for a soft roll.

SOLES
The shoes are equipped with a fine anti-slip latex sole. Of course you can order the lace-up boots CURAGLIA as Cervo Volante special production with a pure and noble leather sole. The best way is to contact us personally: note@cervovolante.com

LEATHER
The shoes are made of 100% Swiss deerskin, from animals that lived in the wild and were shot there on the hunt. The bumps and scratches on the leather are traces of this wild life and a sign of authenticity and uniqueness. All leather is 100% vegetable tanned in the canton of Bern, without chrome and without synthetic tanning agents.

LEATHER COLOUR
The colours correspond to the natural colouring caused by the tanning process. This model comes in the following colours (as long as available):

Cognac (tanned with MIMOSA/QUEBRACHO)
Olive brown (tanned with VALONEA OAK)

* The little alpine village CURAGLIA lies in Val Medel at the foot of the Lukmanier mountain pass. It is an area with a high red deer population and a nice little butchery that provides red deer skins from local hunters for our products.
